37: Making it Custom, Cool & Customer-Led with Aubrie Pagano of Bow & Drape

It’s the last episode of the year, and I can’t imagine a more appropriate guest. For today’s show, I’m thrilled to be able to share a conversation with Aubrie Pagano, founder and CEO of Bow & Drape, a New York fashion startup that is amassing legions of loyal fans with its customizable sportswear and cheeky, sweatshirt-ready phraseology. Dial up one of their sweatshirts for a cool-chic way of saying what’s on your mind (a few of my favorites include the Goal Digger and the I Donut Even Care options). And while it’s all very fun and of-the-moment (just check out their celeb fans on their Instagram account), Aubrie has plenty to say that’s all-business when we talk about her company’s origins and how she went from early entrepreneurship to a viable business with a cult following. Oh and p.s., she just happens to manufacture locally and ethically, so there’s that to impress us, too.

But wait, there’s more below!
