19 Dec Why You Need Another Classic White Shirt
If a wardrobe staple like a classic white button-down shirt might sounds hard to get excited about, you haven’t met the debut capsule collection from New York-based Grammar, whose founder Althea Simons knew niching down was the way to go for her first foray into fashion entrepreneurship.
Part of the Brooklyn Fashion + Design Accelerator, Simons recently launched the first items from her brand after successfully crowdfunding the company to the tune of more than $28K earlier this year: five wear anytime and anywhere shirts with standout details such as twists, ties and even a tunic-length style.
Staying FEST-ive to the core, Grammar shirts are made of 100% organic cotton by an entrepreneur who’s aiming to change the way wardrobe basics are made – and worn. Hear more from Simons on Spirit of 608 EP 127.
