These Cute Organic Baby Clothes Grow With Your Littles

Babies grow so quickly. So why can’t their clothes follow suit and stick with them through multiple sizes? It’s an idea that more than a few designers today are toying with. For new fall cuteness that’ll last for more than one growth stage, look no further than Pure Colour Baby.

Ontario-based designer Lindsay Down puts her years specializing in color consultation on home and office interior design projects to use in her eco-friendly apparel line for babies and toddlers up to 5T. Try not to covet the tot version of harem pants that Down has devised in organic cotton. Along with looking unbelievably cozy, they’re insanely practical: from a cut meant to go over bulky diapers to the multi-size wearability.

Making each piece in her hometown studio using fabrics printed with non-toxic dyes, she incorporates details like extra-long roll down cuffs that can be folded up or down to fit and elastic-free pants with waistbands and cuffs for extending through different sizes – or simply adjusting to the season’s changing weather.

The new Autumn/Winter collection features prints that are a hard-to-find balance of playful and cool. There’s nothing too saccharine sweet or cartoonish, yet unicorns and clouds with colorful raindrops are in the mix alongside benign vikings, stars and woodland creatures with subtle vintage appeal.

Accompanying hats, beanies and bandana-style bibs in coordinating colors and prints mean you can mix and match, complete a look – or a gift – for the little bundles in your world.
