25 Sep It’s Back: Project Entrepreneur Accepting Apps for ’18
Project Entrepreneur is officially back with another opportunity for female entrepreneurs to enter its venture competition.
Regular Spirit of 608 podcast listeners may recall in episode 32 that we featured a chat with the former director of Project Entrepreneur, Beth Jansen, who headed up the program when it debuted back in 2015.
Since then, the program has evolved and grown. But its core remains the same: a venture competition for startup tech companies founded by at least one female.
A joint effort by Rent the Runway Foundation and UBS, Project Entrepreneur aims to increase the number of women in high-growth, economically impactful companies.
And it’s not all about the final prize: the top 200 applicants are invited to attend PE’s two-day intensive taking place April 13-14, 2018, in New York City, where they’ll participate in workshops, talks, networking opportunities and a live pitch competition.
The prize? A $10,000 grant to build your business and a guaranteed slot in Rent the Runway’s 5-week accelerator program.
Applications are open through November 27, 2018. For more information, check out Project Entrepreneur.
Who knows? Project Entrepreneur’s next success story could be yours!
